Stress Electrocardiogram (Stress Test)
Also known as a stress or treadmill test, this exam evaluates heart activity during exercise to detect angina or arrhythmias.
• Electrodes are placed on your chest and heart activity is monitored while walking on a treadmill
• A technologist and cardiologist will supervise the procedure
• Test Duration: ~15 minutes
• Full Visit Duration: ~1 hour (including preparation, recovery, and review)

Cardiac Ultrasound (Echocardiogram)
Cardiac ultrasound is a simple, painless test that uses ultrasound to produce moving images of your heart. It allows for the visualization of the different structures of the heart, such as the valves, the thickness of the walls, and how the heart contracts to pump blood.
This exam is often requested to assess a heart murmur, check the consequences of a heart attack, or better understand the cause of unexplained shortness of breath. It can also be useful in the presence of palpitations or as part of an evaluation after a stroke.
Cardiac ultrasound is an essential tool for making an accurate diagnosis and guiding care in a precise and safe manner.
- Approximate duration: 30 minutes
Kardia Mobile
The KardiaMobile is a small, portable device that records a single-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) in seconds using a smartphone or tablet. A single-lead ECG captures the heart's electrical activity from a single angle, which is sufficient to detect certain heart rhythm abnormalities such as atrial fibrillation (AFib), palpitations, or other irregularities. Simply place two fingers on the device to obtain a clear tracing, without electrodes or special preparation. This type of recording is particularly useful for documenting intermittent or transient symptoms that are not always captured during an in-office examination. The results can then be saved or shared with a healthcare professional for review.
