Working together to widen access to clinical research in Lanaudière.
The URCL wants to work in partnership with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals who care for people who may be interested in clinical research.
Our unit is located in the same building as a cardiology clinic led by Dr Justin Rayes, cardiologist and principal investigator. This proximity supports continuity between clinical practice and research, while respecting the role of each party and the requirements specific to each study.
Referring an interested person
Once a study is open, you can direct a patient to our team so that they receive information about the project and undergo an eligibility assessment. Participation always remains voluntary.
Discuss it first
Talk with your patient about their interest in clinical research before anything else.
Obtain their agreement
Get your patient's consent before sharing their contact information with us.
