Clinical studies help us better understand diseases and evaluate new ways to prevent, detect or treat certain health problems. Taking part is always voluntary.
What exactly is a clinical study?
A clinical study is research carried out with volunteers in order to improve medical knowledge and care. Depending on the study, it may evaluate a medication, a prevention strategy, a device, laboratory analyses, questionnaires or a health follow-up.
Every project is reviewed by a research ethics board before it begins. Eligibility criteria, study procedures and safety measures differ from one study to another.

Who can take part?
Each study has its own criteria, based in particular on age, state of health, treatments received or medical history. Being interested does not automatically mean that you are eligible; our team assesses each situation with you.
